Currently, there are two NPR stations in Washington, D.C. both on the FM frequency. Both 88.5FM and 90.9 FM are member supported. WAMU currently has the highest broadcast power.

NPR’s primary headquarters is in Washington, D.C. and is open to the public. NPR does offer tours of the building and their offices. These guided tours start every weekday at 11 am and last about one hour. It’s a great way to see NPR in action and a snap shot into the daily life inside NPR.
Tours of the NPR headquarters are not given on weekends and holidays. Tours must also be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
